- Dr. Cheryl Jorgensen is an internationally-renowned inclusive education expert with over 30 years of distinguished service advancing research and best practices. A professor at the University of New Hampshire from 1985 to 2011, Dr. Jorgensen now works with schools and families to support students’ welcomed membership, reciprocal social relationships, full participation, and authentic learning within the general education classroom. She has delivered hundreds of workshops on inclusive education around the country and has has authored or co-authored dozens of peer-reviewed articles, monographs, and books, including The Inclusion Facilitator’s Guide (2005); “The Least Dangerous Assumption: A Challenge to Create a New Paradigm” (2005); “Essential Best Practices in Inclusive Schools” (2012); and “Integrating AAC instruction into regular education settings: expounding on best practices” (2009).
