Please join us for our monthly SEPTA meeting and Superintendent Chat this Thursday, November 12 at the Arlington Public Schools Education Center, 1426 N. Quincy Street (note: this is a different location than most monthly SEPTA meetings). After addressing a few quick business matters beginning around 7:10 pm, we’ll announce and honor the hardworking, much appreciated, very deserving winners of this year’s Eileen K. Crawford Outstanding Educator and Parent Volunteer of the Year (“Howie”) Awards. And then, beginning at 7:40, School Superintendent Dr. Patrick Murphy and his team will answer a wide variety of questions pre-submitted by SEPTA’s membership. Don’t miss this terrific opportunity to meet with APS leadership about topics ranging from inclusion, to SOLs, to countywide and other programs intended for students with special needs, to bullying concerns and other top-of-mind issues. We’ll wrap up with a live, open question and answer discussion if time permits.
As a special treat, the evening’s refreshments will be catered by students participating in Arlington’s Program for Employment Preparedness. Hope to see you there!
