Rainbow Center Therapeutic Riding Center
Biography
Rainbow offers specialized programming for children and teens with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges. Every participant is an individual and we work with each child and teen to develop an individual plan that builds on their abilities. Our program works to create a positive experience where children and teens learn riding and equestrian skills while building a relationship with their horse and team.
Our team is trained to adapt horseback riding and ground work exercises to be safe, rewarding and fun. From selecting the right equipment, highly trained horses, volunteer support and experienced instructors, we strive to make riding accessible to everyone!
SPIRIT Open Equestrian Program
Biography
SPIRIT Open Equestrian Program is unique because we implement different practices of Equine Assisted Activities, to promote inclusion and urban horsemanship, for the healing and improvement of life skills.
It is widely recognized that the interaction, between humans and horses, offers a variety of physical, mental, emotional and intellectual benefits. Equine Assisted Activities complement the work of a variety of therapeutic, developmental and life coaching professionals.
SPIRIT serves the community by providing Therapeutic Riding, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning programs, for individuals, families and groups. What makes SPIRIT so special is the proven history of collaboration between trained professionals, volunteers, clients and the local government, all working together to provide community-oriented programs that are committed to improving the quality of life of all involved.
